Greg S. Russi PERSONAL: Greg graduated from Miami University in Ohio with a Bachelors of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Studies degree and then attended the University of Denver School of Law, graduating in 1985. While attending law school, Greg was involved with the editing and publishing of the Law Reviews Labor Law Symposium issue. Greg has spent twenty-one years prosecuting and defending workers compensation claims. From 1988 through 1993, Greg was first staff counsel and then senior counsel for the Colorado Compensation Insurance Authority, now known as Pinnacol, the states largest workers compensation insurer. Greg left CCIA in 1994 to form his own workers compensation firm. Since then he has confined his workers compensation practice so that he primarily represents employees injured on the job, and not their employers insurance company. Greg joined Kidneigh & Kaufman in 2008 and is available to meet with clients in our Denver office, as well as in Glenwood Springs and Rifle so as to better serve the Western Slope. Greg is a member of the Colorado and Ninth Judicial District Bar Associations. He has also been very active in the community, volunteering his services to help with schools, historic preservation, community recreation and safety, and the environment.
